PMETH Principles

Leadership Principles are fundamental business principles that everyone in business must know if he or she wants to be truly successful and even go beyond being successful to reaching one’s fullest potential.

Leadership training will take your employees to the next level by enhancing their interpersonal skills, improving communication, team participation, productivity, commitment and morale while decreasing politics and confusion.

If your business is not performing as well as you’d like, leadership development represents your best opportunity to take control of your business.  And if your organization is doing well, applying the PMETH Principles will only make it better.

Business professionals know that the principal asset of any organization is its people.  This is true of professional service firms, manufacturers, resellers, retailers, churches, sports teams... Nothing moves until your people make it move.  Therefore, the development of people should be a primary focus of any organization.

Businesses in proven industries that fail, fail because of poor leadership.  And businesses in proven industries that are mediocre, are mediocre because of poor leadership.  Think about it.  If your company is in an industry in which other companies are flourishing but your company is not, you have to ask yourself why.  You can blame it on external factors, such as the economy, only for so long.  You have to begin to wonder…

bullet

Do these companies have a more competent staff?

bullet

Do the employees work harder/smarter?

bullet

Are they more productive?

bullet

Do they have a better strategic plan in place?

bullet

Better technology?

bullet

Less turnover?

bullet

Are these companies anticipating changes in the market sooner?

Any reason you can think of for your company’s lackluster performance can be corrected with good leadership – because everything rises and falls on leadership.

It is natural to doubt the power of applying leadership principles.  But leadership or what I call the PMETH Principles are based solidly in research.  History and countless leaders have proven that this stuff works and that all of it matters to the success of your organization.

The PMETH Leadership Principles are everything else you need to know to make extraordinary things happen at your organization, improve profitability and outperform the competition.  Education and professional experience are only half of what you need to know and leadership principles makes up the other half!

The development of leaders and the application of leadership principles is very difficult, however.  I do not, in any way, want to imply that getting people to want to make extraordinary things happen is easy.  It is not.  The reason it is so difficult is because it requires levels of courage, discipline and persistence that few people can muster.

Are you up for the challenge?  Or are you going to bury your head in the sand and pretend that your people and your organization are operating at full capacity?

Implementing a Leadership Development Strategy as an integral part of your organization will produce tangible, measurable benefits including:

bulletImproved profitability, productivity and efficiency.
bulletIncreased retention of key talent.
bulletImproved health and effectiveness of your company.
bulletExtraordinary levels of performance.
bulletAn environment where the employees are happy and will actually exceed expectations thereby enabling the achievement of corporate and financial goals.
bulletLearning the core composition of a true leader and why leadership is a sacred trust.
bulletThe realization of the importance of striving for perfection.  No one will ever be perfect but if we don’t try, we’ll never even come close.
bulletThe development of a merit-based culture where top performers are rewarded appropriately.

In short, if you apply the PMETH Principles, you and your People will be able to Make Extraordinary Things Happen!

Don't Wait!  Start making extraordinary things happen by implementing a strategy for leadership development as a daily and integral part of your business’s long-term strategic plan.
